The Summer Dance & Mime Intensive is a truly unique event. It offers excellence in dance training and provides a place for dancers to grow spiritually in their understanding and awareness of honoring God with their lives and talents.
Teaching Faculty
 Randall Flinn, Artistic Director, has worked as a dance educator and choreographer with Cirque Du Soleil, Ballet Magnificat, Houston Ballet Academy, Houston's High School for Performing Arts, Houston Met Dance Company, Project Dance, Belhaven College, Hillsong Church-Sydney, YWAM Schools of the Arts, Xaris Danz Europe and Revolve Dance Company.
Ad Deum is comprised of dance artists that have come to Houston from around the world. They have toured the USA, Europe and Asia, receiving outstanding reviews while performing the works of many amazing choreographers such as Steve Rooks (Martha Graham), Caleb Mitchell (Houston Ballet) Hope Boykin (Alvin Ailey), Bill Wade (Inlet Dance Theatre) and Stephen Wynne (Talk Dance Co.). Their mission is to serve through their lives and talents and offer hope and inspiration in a troubled world where artists can work as ambassadors of healing, restoration and cultural reform.

General Information
Dance
Ballet and Modern/Contemporary Dance classes are the two focused dance majors along with a wide array of various dance-style electives. Your technical level will be determined by your self assessment on your application and the first class you take during the week. Classes will be divided into Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/ Advanced grouped according to age and level of technique.
You will be also learning one choreography to perform on the X-Days www.xdays-biel.ch
you can choose between Hip Hop (Beginners/ Intermediate)
or Jazz/ Contemporary (Intermediate/ Advanced)
You are also free to choose your own afternoon elective classes. Electives include Jazz, Hip-Hop and Urban Dance, Pointe, Mime, Tap and a whole lot more!
Mime
 Daniel Cossette, a Marceau-style mime from Mimeistry International, toured with Mimeistry 2000-2002. He founded Ambassador Arts, Manchester, CT where he premiered the shows Say it Loud! and Christmivest. Daniel has performed with Project Dance, Welten Wechsel, and Dance Houston. Currently he teaches for the Houston Ballet Outreach Program and the Alley Theatre, and is a company member with Ad Deum.
The Mime Workshop will run parallel to the Dance Classes. It includes technique as well as learning a choreography/ piece for the performance on the X-Days. In the afternoon there is also the possibility to choose one of the elective dance classes.

Monday to Friday:
8.- 9 am Input/ Worship
9.30- 11 am Ballet Class
11.15- 12.45 am Modern Class
Lunch break
2.30- 4 pm Elective (Mime or different Dance styles)
4.30- 6 pm Choreography Jazz (Intermediate/ Advanced) or Hip Hop (Beginner/Intermediate)
6.30 pm Dinner
7.30-10 pm Fun, Talent night, games
Thursday evening: Ad Deum Performance on X-Days in Biel (Outing for everyone)
Saturday: Rehearsal for X-Days
Sunday: 1pm Summer Dance Participants Performance on X-Days
Class Dress Code
Everyone will need a pair of ballet and jazz shoes. Tap or pointe shoes are needed for those selecting these electives.
Females: Modestly designed leotards and tights are acceptable for all dance classes. Coverings such as T-shirts and shorts are permitted, though various instructors may have certain preferences.
Men: T-shirts, black tights or jazz/sweat pants. No shorts to be worn in dance class.

Payment Options: Payment may be made by check through the mail or wire the money. If you want to use paypal you need to pay 25.- CHF extra.
Price: 700 CHF Includes Housing, Food, Transportation during the week, classes
Non refundable Cancellation Fee: 100.- CHF. If you cancel after 20th June 2012 you will only get 50% refund. If you cancel after 1st August, there will be no refund.
Insurance: Participants are liable/ Responsible for their own health and accident insurance.
